Les Arcs Talent Village býður útskrifuðum nemendum Kvikmyndaskólans að sækja um þátttöku
Útskrifaðir nemendur skólans hafa tækifæri á að taka þátt í spennandi vinnustofu, umsóknir þurfa að berast fyrir 16.apríl og bestu umsóknirnar verða sendar áfram til inntökunefndar
Nina Benoit, sem skipuleggur Talent Village, sendi eftirfarandi upplýsingar til áhugasamra útskrifaðra nemenda okkar ;
The Talent Village aims at encouraging the rise of a new generation of daring and ambitious directors, as well as accompanying them in the journey of their first feature film.
The eight emerging talents will participate in a 3 days workshop before attending Les Arcs, where they will meet and introduce their project to industry professionals during the Coproduction Village.
Every year, a renowned figure of the European cinema meets with the selected talents and exchanges with them about their experience and advises on their short films and feature projects.
After the famous Danish filmmaker, Thomas Vinterberg (Festen, The Hunt, Kursk) in 2018, the eminent French actress Isabelle Huppert made us the honor of being the Talent Village ambassador in 2019. Last year, the well-known Israeli director Nadav Lapid (Ahed’s knee, Synonyms, The policeman) was the ambassador of these workshops.
Requirements for applying
The directors must have directed short films (and provide us with screening links), and have a first feature film project (the development of the project can be at the early beginning, as we ask for a 3-5 pages long synopsis in the application) and can rather have a producer or not. Please note that the director mustn’t have already directed a feature film to apply to the Talent Village.
